Rugby World Cup has started. Crown Princess Catherine attended England’s first match in Marseille. Dressed in pure white, she was the center of attention.
The Rugby World Cup 2023 will start on September 8 (local time), with matches scheduled throughout France.
On September 9 (local time), the Vélodrome Stadium in Marseille hosted the match between England and Argentina. As honorary president of the English Rugby Union for the past year, there was no way that HRH Crown Princess Catherine could miss this match. Thus, she was seated near Bill Beaumont, president of World Rugby, the organizer of the World Cup. As the “ambassador of Great Britain,” she chose a white crepe pants suit by Alexander McQueen, one of her favorite designers. One of her favorites, it consisted of a shoulder-length blazer and flared pants. Rounding out the sophisticated and modern look is a diamond and white gold pendant from Mappin & Webb.
Wearing a favorite outfit over and over again is Catherine’s style.
Crown Princess Catherine stands out among public figures in that she wears the same clothes over and over again. This McQueen pantsuit is one such example. She first wore it on a trip to Jamaica in March 2022, and wore it to the unveiling of the Windrush Monument in London on June 22 of that year and to the Commonwealth Games in August of that year. The English team won the games, but it was Princess Catherine’s suit that made the headlines.
