Princess Meghan, who attended the Invictus Games in Germany with Prince Harry, is now being discussed for not wearing her engagement ring, which she would have worn previously.
Princess Meghan’s left ring finger draws attention
Prince Harry of the British Royal Family and Princess Meghan attended the Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany. The Invictus Games, launched by Prince Harry, is a Paralympic-style international sporting event for wounded and sick soldiers, including retired soldiers, and since its first edition in 2014, about 500 athletes from 15 countries have participated each year.
Looking at a photo of Meghan taken at the Invictus Games, a discerning fan noticed that the engagement ring she used to wear was missing from the ring finger of her left hand. Upon further investigation, it appeared that she was not wearing her engagement ring at the event she attended in May of this year.
There has been a lot of speculation as to the reason for this, but according to People, the part holding the jewel was loose and is currently being sent in for repair.
Incidentally, the engagement ring, which is known to have been designed by Prince Harry himself, was created by Queen Elizabeth’s jeweler Cleeve and Company, and each stone has a special meaning.
The large diamond in the center was purchased from the Republic of Botswana, a country that holds a special place in the hearts of Prince Harry and Princess Meghan, while the two diamonds on either side were selected from the jewelry collection of Prince Harry’s mother, Princess Diana.
The band has been previously “touched up,” with the original simple yellow gold band being upgraded to a more delicate design with multiple small diamonds.
