Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s courtroom battle is heating up.

Actor Brad Pitt has filed new charges against his ex-wife, actress Angelina Jolie.

The courtroom battle between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie is heating up.

Brad claims that Angelina sold half of her shares in a winery they owned together to “a stranger” and intentionally damaged his reputation.

In 2008, the two jointly purchased Chateau Miraval, a winery in Provence in southern France. At that time, the two allegedly made a promise not to sell their share of the property without the other’s consent.

They ended up divorcing in 2019, but in February of this year, Brad filed a lawsuit protesting Angelina’s sale of her shares in the winery to others.

Then, on Friday, June 3, according to court documents obtained by People magazine, Brad claimed that Angelina had intentionally tried to damage him by selling her stake.

Brad’s lawyers claim that Chateau Miraval is a “passion project” for him and that Brad’s work has made it “a multi-million dollar global business and the world’s most acclaimed producer of rosé wines.” He also accuses Angelina of “not contributing to Miraval’s success in any way.

Brad is now demanding “nullity” for the sale allegedly made by Angelina, as well as damages in an “amount to be proven at trial. He is also apparently seeking a trial by jury.

Angelina is accused at the trial of various counts, including breach of “an implied-in-fact contract (i.e., a contract without a signed agreement),” breach of “a quasi-contract offered as an alternative,” breach of “an implied understanding to deal in good faith and fairly,” and abuse of rights under Article 6.1 of the Luxembourg Civil Code The case is still pending.

Angelina’s side has not commented on the case at this time.
