The final season of “Stranger Things” will put Will Byers in the spotlight for the first time in a long time.

In the final season of “Stranger Things,” Will Byers seems to be in the spotlight for the first time in a while.
In a recent interview with Collider magazine, the original writers, brothers Matt and Ross Duffer, revealed that Will, played by Noah Schnapp, will play a major role in season 5, the final season.
Speaking of Will Byers, in Season 1, he encountered the Demogorgon on his way home from his friend Mike’s house. He was rescued by police officer Hopper and his mother Joyce when he was trapped in the underworld, but in Season 2, he was parasitized by the Mind Flayer and his body was taken over.
Although Will has played a relatively important role in seasons 1 and 2, according to Matt Duffer, season 4 is just the beginning of Will’s coming-of-age story, and season 5 will show his personal life journey. Ross Duffer also stated that Season 5 will complete the narrative thread that has been spun since Season 1.
In an interview, he said, “Will is going to play a big role in season 5, and he’s going to get a lot of attention. We’re going to see him grow up,” said Matt. “It’s never easy, because he’s supernatural and there are a lot of reasons why he’s supernatural. But you’ll see him in his element,” he continued.
Ross added, “It’s set up to go back to the storyline of season one. It’s not just Will. It’s not just Will. It’s Steve’s story and Nancy and Jonathan’s relationship. There are a lot of things that are still unresolved,” he added. “They may seem to have taken a step forward, like Will, but that journey is not over yet. And that journey will play a big role in the next season,” he said, revealing that the remaining riddle will be solved.
Will’s appearance in Season 4 was limited, and some fans complained that he did not appear in enough scenes. However, from what he said in this interview, we can expect to see more of Will in the next season.
