It looks like we won’t be seeing Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak’s Cirque Sonic at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards in 2023.

Speaking of Silk Sonic, at this year’s 64th Grammy Awards ceremony, their song “Leave The Door Open” from the album “An Evening With Silk Sonic” won four awards: “Best Record,” “Best Song,” “Best R&B Song,” and “Best R&B Performance” and “Best R&B Song”. The song was also performed at the opening of the ceremony.

It is unlikely that we will see Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak’s Cirque Sonic at the 65th Grammy Awards in 2023.

Although Silk Sonic has been a hit, Billboard magazine reports that “An Evening With Silk Sonic” will not be submitted for nomination for next year’s Grammy Awards.

Why not submit Silk Sonic’s long-awaited debut album for nomination? Bruno Mars commented on this.

“Andy [Anderson Paak] and I and everyone involved in this project won the moment the world responded to the first single ‘Leave The Door Open.’ Everything else was just icing on the cake.” “We are grateful to the Grammys for allowing us to perform at the Grammys, and for honoring us not once, but twice, and last year at the awards ceremony. It would be crazy to ask for anything more,” he said, expressing his gratitude and satisfaction with the four awards he received last year.

Bruno also added a touch of humor, commenting, “We really put our all into this record, but Cirque Sonic would like to gracefully, humbly, and most importantly, sexily, decline to submit our album for this year’s selection,” and concluded, “Thank you Cirque Thank you for allowing Sonic to thrive,” he concluded.
