A chain store with many customers a day seems to be overwhelmed with customers when it suddenly has to close its doors before closing time. An incident revealed by a barista working at a Starbucks overseas has made people laugh.

 

The other day this person was working at Starbucks when the store had to close suddenly due to a plumbing problem. However, since it was a normal time for the store to be open, people were still continuing to come to the drive-through.

 

It was quite a challenge to tell each customer that the restaurant was temporarily closed, and some customers did not immediately accept the closure and complained. However, when the barista came up with an idea and implemented it, the customers quickly left.

 

The idea was to pretend to be a robot and tell them that the restaurant was temporarily closed!

 

When you went to the drive-through receptionist, the voice of Amazon’s Alexa or Apple’s Siri would say, “We’re sorry, we’re closed. We are closed,” most people would probably choose to leave without asking or gawking at the reason.

The barista who revealed such an incident on TikTok also said, “There was zero argument. There was nothing. You know why? Because you can’t fight with a robot!” He said proudly. It was a triumph of an idea.

 

Incidentally, many people commented that the barista, who successfully performed her own speech, the speech of a frustrated drive-through customer, and the speech of a robot in the video, might be able to pursue a career as a voice actor.
