Natalie Portman, who stars as Jane Foster/The Mighty Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film “Thor: Love & Thunder,” shared an episode on the Capital FM radio show that shows how good Chris Hemsworth is as Thor.
According to Natalie, during the filming of “Thor: Love & Thunder,” Chris ate meat all day to bulk up for the role. However, knowing that Natalie was a vegan, Chris did not eat meat for Natalie on the day they filmed the kissing scene.
‘He’s a really nice guy. Because I’m vegan, he didn’t eat meat the morning of the day we had to shoot the kissing scene. Until then, he was like eating meat every half hour. So I thought it was a very considerate thing to do. （I don’t get angry or care (if the person I’m kissing eats meat before the shoot), but he did it out of consideration for me. He’s a good guy anyway.”
We often hear stories about people carefully brushing their teeth before a kissing scene, but Natalie is too good a person to refrain from eating meat herself so as not to offend Natalie, who is a vegan!
Incidentally, Tessa Thompson, who played Valkyrie and was being interviewed with Natalie at the time, also commented after hearing Natalie’s story, “I didn’t know he could go so long without eating meat.
