Ariana’s stairway to success began when she landed the lead role in the popular musical “Annie” at the age of eight.
Ariana appeared in “Annie” at the Little Palm Family Theatre in Florida.
More than a decade later, a video of an 8-year-old Ariana being interviewed for the first time about her performance in “Annie” has been released on Twitter and has garnered a great deal of attention.
In the video posted by Twitter user @hdxqi, the young Ariana is asked by a reporter if this is her first time playing Annie. Ariana admits that it is her first time and replies that she was not afraid of the audition.

Wearing Annie’s trademark red curly hair wig, Ariana was asked how she felt about her first time on stage, to which she proudly replied, “It was a lot of fun and interesting! I had a lot of fun and it was fun!
When asked how she felt at the moment she won the role of Annie, Ariana replied, “I was like, ‘Who did I win? I was like, ‘Who did I get? I was like, ‘Annie! I was like, ‘Annie! I was like, ‘Oh my God,'” she said.
The video has been spreading on Twitter and already has 2.3 million views.
In the comments section, there were comments such as, “She doesn’t change her mannerisms even when she gets older,” and “She hardly changes at all! She is still very cute.
