Harry Styles (28) and Olivia Wilde (38), who are currently dating, have finally addressed the “toxic negativity” that some fans have been posting online.

Harry was featured in Rolling Stone magazine’s September cover story feature. He said that the hateful comments against his girlfriend, Olivia, clearly do not make him feel good.

Harry explained, “It’s obviously a difficult feeling to feel like you’re being held to ransom in a corner of Twitter for being close to me,” he said. He added, “I just wanted to sing,” and “I didn’t want to get into it if it was going to hurt people like that.”
His girlfriend Olivia also responded to this interview. She calls most of Harry’s fans “deeply loving people” and “champions of true kindness. ‘What I don’t understand about the cruelty mentioned . That such venomous negativity is the antithesis of Harry himself and everything he puts out,” Olivia said, “Personally, I don’t think the energy of hate defines his fan base at all.
Olivia and Harry began dating after filming together on “Don’t Worry Darling,” which Olivia directed. Harry rarely talks about his romance with Olivia, but he does mention their working relationship; in May, he said in a conversation with Howard Stern that he had a “wonderful experience directing Olivia.”
