Thank you very much,” he thanked his Japanese fans whom he was meeting for the first time. “The next song is dedicated to those who have yet to fall in love and to those who are lonely,” he commented and sang “People Watching” softly.

He then sang “Memories,” a song about complicated feelings of not being able to easily get over a broken heart, “Heather,” a song about feeling jealous of the person you love, and finally “Maniac,” a big hit from his first album, which filled the audience with a sense of unity.

After the performance, Conan answered questions from fans.

When asked about his impression of Japanese fans, he replied, “It’s totally different from America! People in America are not that polite (laughs). (Laughs.) Everyone is friendly, even the people on the street were friendly on the way here, and they even asked me nicely for permission to take their picture. I really appreciate it,” he said, expressing his love for his Japanese fans.

When asked about her favorite Japanese word as a child, he immediately answered, “Onara (fart). He also answered “fart” as his current favorite Japanese word, which drew laughter.

When asked if he was able to meet his grandmother in Hiroshima, he replied, “Yes, she is over there (on the second floor). He has been waiting for me to come back to Japan for many years, and she is happy to see me at today’s event. I hope to come back to Japan many more times,” he said happily.

He ended her speech by saying to his Japanese fans, “Thank you very much. I’ve been reading your posts on SNS! I hope to come back to Japan soon, thank you so much! I hope to come back to Japan again soon, thank you so much! The first event in Japan, where the band has its roots, ended with a great success.
