A secret video of One Direction has been released and has become a major topic of conversation.

On Saturday, July 23, 1D celebrated its 12th anniversary since its formation. To commemorate this occasion, “X Factor” released a treasured video of the group’s formation. The video documents how the show’s judges Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, and Louis Walsh created “1D” by combining various candidates.

In the video, the three judges discuss the candidates in front of their photos. First, Nicole calls out, “Let’s create an imaginary boy group,” and divides the candidates into several groups. First, she picked up a photo of Nile Horan and moved it to another location.

He then picked up a picture of Harry Styles. All three seemed to agree to put him in the group. Nicole utters “yes,” points to Nile Horan’s picture, and tells them, “Let’s do it with him.”

Then, as Louis Tomlinson is added to the group, Nicole gradually becomes more excited, as if the group is taking shape. ‘Look! We have the cutest boy group ever!” She exclaimed, and added, “Little girls are going to love them!

Then Louis Walsh added a picture of Liam Payne, to which Nicole agreed, but Simon Cowell, who appreciated Liam’s excellent singing ability, wanted to add him to the other group. Simon suggested, “Wouldn’t he be better in this group?” Nicole disagreed, saying, “I don’t think so,” and then added, “He’ll shine, no doubt. He could be a leader.

Later, Zayn Malik was added to the group, completing the five-member team. Simon couldn’t help but say, “This is a great idea. This is the category I was looking for,” he said confidently.

The five-member group debuted in 2010 and released five albums with such success that they became a social phenomenon. However, they went on hiatus in 2015 when Zayn Malik left the band. Since then, all members have been active as solo singers and actors.
