The Super Mario Bros. Movie is currently a working title and has not been announced as an official title. The animated film is a co-production between Nintendo and Illumination, with Chris Pratt leading the film as Mario, Anja Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, and Jack Black as Bowser. Jack Black has been cast as Bowser.

 

The trailer for the film was recently released, and on social media, Chris Pratt has shared his thoughts on playing Nintendo’s iconic mascot character. On Twitter, Nintendo fans are sharing their reactions to the new trailer and their first impressions of the cast of The Super Mario Bros. Movie. While many praised the film’s animation and Jack Black’s performance as Bowser, some criticized Chris Pratt’s Mario voice, asking, “Isn’t Chris just talking normally…?” and “Why was Pratt used instead of a professional voice actor?
