Universal Studios will collaborate with popular singer The Weeknd for this year’s Halloween event.
Haunted house based on The Weeknd’s album
Universal Studios’ Halloween event “Halloween Horror Nights” in the U.S. is filled with various projects every year, and this year they are planning to build a haunted house based on The Weeknd’s 2020 album “After Hours”.

Through the “Living Nightmare” walk-through attraction, guests will experience a vivid imaginary journey into the mind of The Weeknd, the base of his record-breaking album, and the vivid fantasies that inspired him.
According to a press release, selected songs from the “After Hours” album will be transformed into a horror movie soundtrack, offering guests a “terrifying and haunting experience.
The entire haunted house will be filled with “grotesque characters and themes” inspired by The Weeknd’s music and short films.
The Weeknd commented on the collaboration. For me, Halloween has been an integral part of my music making. I’ve always wanted to do my own haunted house for Halloween Horror Nights. I think my music video was a step in the right direction for this collaboration. I can’t wait for everyone to experience the madness.
