He will be back on his feet soon.

On Saturday, July 30, President Joe Biden reported on Twitter that he himself had tested positive again. He then explained that these so-called “rebound” symptoms occur in a very small number of people who have been prescribed the antiviral drug Paclovid, which is used to treat the disease.

He added, “I have no symptoms, but for the safety of those around me, I am going into voluntary quarantine. I will be working from home for a while, but will return to work soon,” he wrote.

President Biden contracted the new coronavirus on Thursday, July 21. He immediately went into home quarantine and took Paclovid for treatment, and by the evening of Tuesday, July 26, he tested negative.

His physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, explained the positive test in a letter, “President Biden was one of a small number of people who took Paclovid who had a ‘rebound’ of symptoms.

Regarding President Biden’s positive antigen test, Dr. Kevin O’Connor said that he is going back into quarantine because of the possibility of infecting others, but added, “Since he is not showing any particular symptoms, we do not plan to prescribe any additional medication.

According to the U.S. government, President Biden was scheduled to visit Delaware and Michigan this week, but had to cancel his trip. His visit to Michigan was intended to promote funding for high-tech manufacturing, but it is unclear if he will be coming online.

Dr. O’Connor reported that President Biden’s current condition “does not require any special treatment at this time, but will continue to be closely monitored as before.
