Colombian superstar Shakira, 45, wants to leave her current home in Barcelona and live in Miami, Page Six reports.
She wants to live in Miami Beach, where she has close family and friends who can give her the support she needs.
Shakira is currently in the midst of a custody battle with the father of her child, Barcelona FC soccer player Gerard Pique, 35, following their breakup. At the time of the breakup, Shakira reportedly found Gerard Pique in bed with another woman.
Shakira and Gerard Pique first met in 2010. It was while Shakira was promoting her 2010 World Cup anthem “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).” They did not marry, but have two children, Sasha and Milan.

Shakira is also being sued by Spanish authorities for tax fraud. The amount is estimated to be more than $14.5 million, which the prosecutors considered to be malicious and asked Shakira to serve eight years in prison.
Facing these numerous problems, Shakira would like to live in Miami Beach, where she has close family and friends who can provide her with the support she needs. In addition, she has a private waterfront mansion. Ana Lourdes Martinez, a family friend and realtor for Douglas Elliman, says the town is a “haven” for Shakira. She added, “Her parents, her brother, her niece and nephew all live here. She has no family in Spain. It’s a different environment from Barcelona,” she continued.
