Johnny Depp is a popular actor known for the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series. He has another big project lined up after winning his defamation lawsuit against Amber Heard.

Modigliani’s life story to be adapted into a film.

According to a new report from Page Six, Johnny will direct a film about Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani. Al Pacino and Barry Navidi have been tapped to co-produce.

Johnny released a statement to the Hollywood Reporter, saying, “It is an incredible honor and truly humbling for me to be making a film about the life story of Mr. Modigliani. He continued, “It is a life of great hardship and eventual triumph, a universal human story that all viewers can relate to.”

Johnny directed, wrote, and starred in “The Brave,” and this project will be his first directorial effort in 25 years.

Production on the film is likely to begin in Europe in the spring of 2023. It is not known whether Johnny will appear in the film or not, but we can expect more news to follow.

Speaking of Johnny, after the trial, he collaborated with guitarist Jeff Beck and toured with him for several months. Johnny also sold his artwork for millions of dollars. He appeared in a new mini-movie titled “Adventurer’s Game” for the “Sea of Dawn” mobile game. He also resumed acting in the film “Jeanne du Barry,” which has begun shooting in France.
