World tour starting in July to be postponed.
On June 29, it was learned that Madonna (64), a popular American singer, was rushed to a hospital in New York City and is in the intensive care unit. Madonna’s manager revealed the news.
Manager Guy Oseary posted a message on her own Instagram on June 29, stating, “On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection and will be in the ICU for several days. According to multiple U.S. media reports, Madonna was found unconscious at her home on June 24 and was rushed to the emergency room.

She added, “She is on the road to recovery, but still needs medical attention. We are waiting for a full recovery. At this time, we need to stop all schedules, including the tour,” and indicated that the world tour, which was scheduled to start on July 15 in Vancouver, Canada, would be postponed. New tour dates and other details will be announced as soon as they become available.
