Starbucks headquarters reacted to a video that had gone viral in which one Starbucks was asking customers on the spot for their opinions on the defamation of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.
One Starbucks apparently provided “Team Johnny” and “Team Heard” tip jars.
Johnny is one of the most well-known actors, but recently his defamation case against his ex-wife, Amber, has made headlines. Amber was on trial for implying in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed that she was a victim of domestic abuse, and Johnny won the case.

When the trial took place, it also made headlines when the courtroom was broadcast live to the world, bringing a lot of attention to the dispute. At one Starbucks, a video of “Team Johnny” and “Team Heard” tip jars being prepared was a hot topic that was spread on TikTok. The video has now been removed.
A few months after this TikTok video went viral, Starbucks finally responded to the video. It turns out that the tip jar was actually a hot topic, and many people contacted Starbucks headquarters to find out which stores had installed the jar. In response, Starbucks told Insider that they will “share detailed feedback with the appropriate team for consideration.”
Johnny Depp is currently filming his first movie since the trial, which he is also directing. As for Amber Heard, she is scheduled to appear in “Aquaman 2,” which will be released in the U.S. on December 25, 2023, but there have been various reports, including that all of her scenes may be cut.
