Keanu and Chad also said that the fourth film in the series, John Wick: Consequence, which opens in US theatres on 23 March (scheduled for release in Japan in September), is dedicated to Lance’s “loving memory”. Lance Reddick passed away on 17 March local time; according to TMZ, law enforcement officials said they found Lance’s body at his home in Studio City, California.
In December 2021, Lance praised his working relationship with Keanu, describing Keanu as ‘a very generous actor and then someone who only thinks about his work’. On the one hand, I feel like I don’t know him very well, but on the other hand, I just respect that man, he’s such a wonderful human being.”
