Shawn, who has been open about his mental health issues, wrote on his SNS this past July, “I started this tour with great enthusiasm to finally be able to resume live performances after an extended break due to the pandemic, but I had no idea how difficult it would be to tour after the break. After talking with the team and consulting with a great group of medical professionals, it became clear that I needed to take some time that I had not taken personally in the past, reassess myself, and come back stronger. Unfortunately, we have to cancel the rest of our tour in North America, the UK, and Europe,” (*excerpt), the message was posted, announcing that all remaining dates of the world tour would be canceled. He has been prioritizing his mental health, traveling with friends and spending time with his family, while also taking time to face himself.
