The Backstreet Boys, who created a huge boom in pop music in the 1990s and 2000s, are currently on tour in Europe, the U.S., and Australia until March 2023, performing more than 30 songs per show, proving that they can still sing and dance.

At the Backstreet Boys’ Toronto show, a surprise guest appeared at the end of the main show.

It was the popular rapper Drake. Drake was introduced as the “sixth member” at the Backstreet Boys’ performance visiting his hometown and appeared on stage. He hugged each member and performed the Backstreet Boys’ hit song “I Want It That Way” together.

Unlike his usual rapping, it was quite refreshing to see Drake singing a pop song. Before the performance began, Drake called “I Want It That Way” “one of the greatest songs in the world. He seemed to like the song so much that he enjoyed humming the lyrics the entire time the band members were singing.

When the song ended, the “sixth member” formed a line together, joined hands, and bowed.

The Backstreet Boys and Drake performed together, which is something that is usually impossible to see. Fans who visited the Toronto show had the rare experience of seeing them live.
