The director is Ol’ Mamma Mia! (Hear We Go). The two leading stars of Hollywood play with a lively rhythm and wit that is too gorgeous to be missed.
Ticket to Paradise,” a heartwarming drama, opens in Japan on November 3 !
The weather was a bit unstable during the day, with a few sprinkles of rain, but it stopped by the time the world premiere started, and the sun came out, as befitting a film set in beautiful Bali. The sun was shining and the venue was decorated with tropical tropical flowers inspired by the film. The audience cheered each time they appeared for a photo call, and the place was filled with excitement.
About 800 fans were able to enter the venue, which was set up in a corner of Leicester Square, and media from about 30 media outlets including Australia, Germany, France, Spain, and the Middle East as well as the U.K. The cast members, including Julia and George, enthusiastically performed fan service and sound bites.
In this film, George and Julia play a couple who have been a “family” for 20 years only for their only daughter after only 5 years as a married couple. Their daughter falls in love with a young man she just met on a graduation trip to Bali, and in order to stop their daughter from getting married too quickly, they make a “temporary pact” and plan to stop her marriage in various ways, reminiscent of the “Ocean’s” series. George and Julia, playing an ex-couple, are in tune with each other and their rapid-fire exchanges are comical scenes of “married couples”! At the premiere, George and Julia showed a humorous and funny exchange reminiscent of the two actors in the movie, and Julia said, “I only wanted to work with George,” and that George had to be her partner in the movie. I feel like the time has come. We wanted to do this film together, and it’s a good time to have fun. We wanted to do this film together, and we thought it was a good time to do a fun film. We wanted to do this film together, and we thought it was a good time to do a fun film. It was after a very difficult few years for the human race,” she said. In response to a reporter’s question about whether the film should be seen on the big screen in movie theaters, Julia said, “I know I sound older than we are, but the old-fashioned experience of sitting in the dark and sharing a laugh with a group of strangers is what makes a movie magical for me. It’s what makes a film magical for me. George added, “Comedies are funnier when you watch them in a group, aren’t they? When you watch it alone at home on the couch, it’s like, ‘Wow, that was funny,’ but in a movie theater room, it gets a lot stronger,” said George, who also agreed with Julia.
To her Japanese fans who are eagerly awaiting the new film, Julia said, “Hello! Thank you! Thank you!” George added, “I look forward to seeing everyone in Japan again. I hope it comes true.
Caitlin Dever, who plays Lily, the daughter of George and Julia, appeared at the premiere wearing a chic outfit different from the one in the film. Upon spotting her, Julia ran up to her screaming and gave Caitlin a motherly hug, saying, “How gorgeous. Oh my god! How are you? You look so beautiful! She was also seen exclaiming, “You look so beautiful! George, flanked by his real wife Amal Clooney and Julia Roberts, who plays his ex-wife in the film, appeared a little embarrassed but beaming. Fresh actors of the next generation added to the splendor of the premiere, making for a gorgeous lineup. Ticket to Paradise,” a funny and heartwarming “euphoric” film set in beautiful Bali, opens in Japan on November 3 (Thursday, national holiday)!
