Chrissy Teigen recently confessed that the cause of her late son Jack’s death was not really a miscarriage.

When Chrissy Teigen shared this sad news in 2020, she said it was a miscarriage. ‘We are very shocked and in deep sadness right now. This is the most pain we have ever experienced. We have been unable to stop the bleeding and have had several transfusions, but they were not enough,” she wrote. However, we decided to name him ‘Jack’ after the boy who passed away. Jack worked very hard to become a member of our family. And he will always be a part of our family,” she continued.

In the midst of all this, she revealed in a new Proper Daily “A Day of Unreasonable Conversation” summit, “Two years ago, when I was pregnant with Jack … John and our third child, I had to make many difficult and heart-wrenching decisions.” She continued, “It became clear to me about halfway through that he would not survive and I would not survive without medical intervention.”

Chrissy, who shares daughter Luna and son Miles with John Legend and is currently pregnant, noted that she had tremendous medical care and a wonderful support system, but only recently realized that she had had an abortion. Chrissy confessed that it was not a miscarriage, “it was an abortion.”

Chrissy also remarked that she “never understood it that way” until the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the Roe v. Wade decision (a woman’s right to have an abortion). She said, “We told the world we had a miscarriage, the world agreed we had a miscarriage, and all the headlines said it was a miscarriage,” and “And I was really frustrated that they didn’t say what it was in the first place, and it took me over a year to actually understand that we had an abortion I felt foolish for that,” she continued.
