Tom Brady opens up about his relationship with ex-wife Gisele Bundchen for the first time since their divorce

On October 31 (local time), Tom Brady, 45, quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, an American National Football League (NFL) team, appeared on the Sirius XM Radio podcast program “Let’s Go! For the first time since his divorce from supermodel Gisele Bundchen, he spoke about his current state of mind and his future.

I’m really focused on two things right now,” he said.

In the program, Tom said that the “good news” is that his relationship with his ex-wife is “very amicable.” The two were married 13 years ago, but their relationship was reported to have deteriorated a few months ago, and the divorce, which was filed simultaneously on October 28, was finalized that same day.

Tom and Giselle have a 12-year-old son, Benjamin, and a 9-year-old daughter, Vivian. Tom and Giselle will have joint custody of the children. Tom also has a 15-year-old son, John Edward, with actress Bridget Moynahan, with whom he had a relationship before their marriage.

Tom commented on the program, “Right now, I’m really focused on two things. One is taking care of his family, especially his children, and the other is doing his best to win matches.

Earlier this year, Tom announced his retirement to focus on his family and other projects. However, just over a month later, in March, he withdrew and returned to play. At the time, Gisele expressed her support for her husband’s decision.

However, in a subsequent interview with Elle magazine, Gisele revealed that she wanted Tom to be “more involved” with the family and children. She also said the following.

‘I think in the end everybody has to make decisions that are in their own best interest. He also needs to keep doing what makes him happy.”

Tom admits that his divorce from Giselle “got a lot of people’s attention” and made a difficult situation even more difficult. Still, he says, “Everyone has their own problems, in their own lives. We are all human beings. We do the best we can do,” he says.

I have wonderful parents. They have always taught me the right way to get things done. I want to be a great father to my children. I always try to do things the right way.

‘When I’m faced with a challenge, I want to deal with it in the best way possible, and to do that, I want to be upfront about it, both on and off the court.’

In her post to the Instagram story in which she acknowledged her divorce, Gisele wrote, “My priority has always been and always will be my children, who I love with all my heart,” and that she and Tom will continue to jointly raise their children.

And he said that he will continue to “give them the love, care, and attention they deserve”.

Meanwhile, Tom, as an NFL player, denied rumors in “Let’s Go!” that he would retire completely after this season as follows.

I have never given up on anything in my life. I have contributed to this team and I love the team and the organization. I retired once, but I don’t see myself retiring anytime soon in the near future.
