On this day, Jason was wearing shiny purple pajama top and bottom and a long jacket. This is the same outfit worn by Jason’s character Flip in his latest film, “Slumberland.


Jimmy Kimmel, the host of the show, could not hide his surprise, saying, “This is the first time I’ve seen someone in a character’s costume.


Jimmy Kimmel introduced one photo during the program. It showed Jason pulling up a fishing rod on a boat. Jason was wearing a Japanese “fundoshi” (loincloth).


The loincloth that covered his lower half of his body was a traditional Hawaiian garment called a “malo.


When Jimmy asked about his appearance, Jason replied, “I’m doing a show called ‘Chief of War,’ set in Hawaii in the 1780s and ’90s, and it’s coming to Apple TV+. I was the creator, writer, director, and producer. I wore this every day while making the show. I want to be the best I can be, and I like the character. I like the character, and most importantly, I can get a nice tan on my white skin,” he said, eliciting laughter.
