The loincloth that covered his lower half of his body was a traditional Hawaiian garment called a “malo.
When Jimmy asked about his appearance, Jason replied, “I’m doing a show called ‘Chief of War,’ set in Hawaii in the 1780s and ’90s, and it’s coming to Apple TV+. I was the creator, writer, director, and producer. I wore this every day while making the show. I want to be the best I can be, and I like the character. I like the character, and most importantly, I can get a nice tan on my white skin,” he said, eliciting laughter.
