Then, on Wednesday, June 28, Madonna’s longtime manager, Guy Oseary, updated his Instagram page. In a statement, Guy reported that Madonna had been hospitalized after developing a “serious bacterial infection. He announced that although she is currently on the road to recovery, she will temporarily suspend all activities, including her planned tour.

 

The Sun reports that Madonna was recording with popular singer Katy Perry until a few hours before she collapsed.
