Daniel Craig talks about the end of his Bond

Daniel Craig, the sixth James Bond in the British national film series “007,” has completed his 15-year mission as Bond with the release of “No Time to Die” in 2021.

The film is deeply moving just because it is Daniel’s final film, but in this film, Bond sacrifices his life in order to protect his family at the end. This development brought tears to the eyes of many viewers. And according to Daniel, it was important for two reasons for Bond to lose his life. He told the Los Angeles Times.

‘For that series, one is that it allows me to start with a reset, like they did with me. I also said, ‘Yes. You guys need to reset again. So by all means, kill my character and find another Bond, another story, start at 23, start at 25, start at 30.

The other thing is that I can move on with it. I don’t want to go back. I would not be lucky enough to be asked to come back by the production team, but I have to move on from the series. The sacrifice that Bond made in that film was for love, and there will never be a greater sacrifice than that. So it looks good at the end of it.”

For Daniel, who had been increasingly saying that he was considering retiring as Bond before this film, it was important for him to make it clear that his character would die in the final film and that this was really the end. It may also have been a way of preventing a comeback by past cast members in recent film series productions.

Dave Bautista, who co-starred with him in “007 Spectre,” and with whom Daniel is working again in the Netflix film “Nives Out: Glass Onion,” which will be released on December 23, 2022, said of Daniel’s condition, “In the Bond films, he did not look his happiest. But in ‘The Glass Onion,’ it’s the exact opposite. He was so much fun, always smiling, happy, and more involved with people,” she revealed. Daniel must have moved on.

Incidentally, unlike Ross King’s requirements for the next James Bond actor, Daniel is hoping that an actor in his 20s will be the seventh. What will happen?
