With only a little over a month to go, the top 15 most Googled celebrity rankings for 2022 have already been revealed.

The most searched celebrity of the year was the divorcing couple that has been the talk of the gossip sites.

According to JustJared, the revealed rankings are based on CelebTattler’s analysis of Google Search data for more than 150 of the most influential celebrities, ranking the top 15 most searched celebrities from January 1, 2022, to date. The celebrities include actors, musicians, and athletes, as well as members of the royal family and politicians.

The most Googled celebrity this year was Amber Heard, whose defamation trial with her ex-husband Johnny Depp attracted a lot of attention. She was searched 5,651,700 times per month on average. In second place was Johnny Depp, with an average of 5,565,100 searches per month, just below Amber. In third place was Queen Elizabeth II, who died in September of this year, and whose platinum jubilee in June, celebrating 70 years on the throne, drew a lot of attention.

Following in fourth place was NFL star Tom Brady, who announced his retirement in February of this year. He announced his retirement in February of this year, but withdrew it shortly after. He also announced his divorce from wife Gisele Bundchen in a blitz. He was followed by Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson.
