A woman broke into the New York home of Robert De Niro, known for his roles in Taxi Driver and Goodfellas.

Law enforcement sources told The Post that at approximately 2:30 a.m. local time on December 19, 30-year-old Shanice Aviles entered Robert De Niro’s Upper East Side townhouse and stole Christmas presents from under his Christmas tree and She was playing with Robert’s iPad.
Police officials said Robert and his daughter were upstairs and had no idea what was going on. Police arrested Aviles, who had been arrested a total of 26 times in the past, at the scene and had charges pending earlier in the morning.

Robert, a lifelong New Yorker, sold his West Village townhouse, where he lived for 37 years, in 2012 for $9.5 million. During the pandemic, he relocated to a home in upstate New York.
