Al Nassr is going to change his plans and move for Sergio Ramos this summer and Modric in the summer of 2024, after the end of next season.

Saudi Arabia is now said to be aiming to push their country’s soccer to the world’s top scene in the future and to become the Real Madrid of the Arab world.

Al Nassr, the country’s leading club that just acquired Cristiano Ronaldo on the 30th of last month, is said to be in the market for more star players, with Modric and Sergio Ramos, the former Spanish defender for Paris Saint-Germain, among the candidates.

Inter Miami of the U.S. MLS is also keen to sign Modric and Paris Saint-Germain’s Argentine FW Messi, according to the paper.

In this context, however, Modric has rejected huge offers received from Saudi Arabia and the United States because he wants to continue playing for Real Madrid for at least one more season.

Modric’s contract with Real Madrid expires on June 30, but his performances for the club and the national team, such as those he showed at the recent FIFA World Cup, suggest that he is still capable of doing well when he reaches his 38th birthday in September. And although there is no talk of a contract extension at this time, the club’s leadership is said to welcome Modric’s stay, and it seems likely that we will see him back at Real Madrid next season.

In response, Al Nassr, which is serious about becoming one of the top clubs in the world and has already achieved its primary goal of acquiring Cristiano Ronaldo, has changed its plans and will move to acquire Sergio Ramos this summer and Modric in the summer of 2024, after next season ends, according to the newspaper.
