Vasco da Gama (Brazil’s second division) announced on the club’s official website on January 6 that U-20 Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos will move to Chelsea.
According to reports in several European media, the transfer fee will be around 12 million euros (approximately 1.7 billion yen).

Born on May 3, 2004, A. Santos is a product of Vasco da Gama’s lower organization and made his first-team debut in November 2021, making 36 official appearances in the 2022 season, scoring eight goals. He has also represented Brazil in each generation of the national team.
A. Santos is the third new signing for Chelsea this winter after the club acquired Ivory Coast international David Datolo Fofana and French defender Benoit Baziassire in the January transfer window.
