Eagles and Giants from the hard-fought NFC East meet in the Divisional Round

On Saturday, January 21, the Philadelphia Eagles, who advanced to the postseason as the top seed in the National Football Conference (NFC), faced the New York Giants, a rival team from the same NFL East division and winner of the Super Wild Card.

The Eagles carried their regular season momentum into the game, dominating early on, and by the end of the game, they had beaten the Giants 38-7 to advance to the NFC Championship.

It was the first time the Eagles had reached the conference championship since the 2017 season, when they won the Super Bowl.

The Eagles’ next opponent will be determined by the outcome of the Dallas Cowboys-San Francisco 49ers game on January 22. Whichever team wins, the NFC Championship will be played at Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Eagles.

If the 49ers win, the NFC will be a top-tier battle between the top two seeds, and if the Cowboys win, the hard-fought NFC East rivals will clash for a Super Bowl berth.
