Pam & Tommy” is a shocking original drama series about the tumultuous marriage of Pamela Anderson, famous for her work on the popular drama “Baywatch” and in Playboy magazine, and Tommy Lee, drummer for the legendary heavy metal band Motley Crue.

The drama was the talk of the town, having been nominated for numerous awards, but Pamela Anderson herself refused to watch the film.

The drama, in which Lily James plays Pamela and Sebastian Stan plays Tommy, reportedly upset Pamela when it aired in 2021.

Pamela, now 55, told the New York Times that she refused to even meet with Lily, who had written to reassure her about the project.

Lilly sent a handwritten note asking if she could speak with Pamela and tried to convince her that she just wanted to do something she was proud of.

Pamela said, “I was already hurt enough the first time,” and “Really? People are still using that thing? I was like, “Really? Pamela is now preparing to release both a memoir and a Netflix documentary about herself.

She insisted on retaining her agency in the book and insisted on putting it in herself, even when she was getting copy edits.

‘It’s really life or death. I knew I had to tell my story. And I couldn’t let anyone else do it but me,” she explained to The New York Times.
