The contract is for two and a half years until the end of June 2025, and his number at Wolves will be “21”.

According to Fabrizio Romano, a journalist well versed in the transfer market, the transfer fee will reportedly be 5 million euros (about 700 million yen).

Sarabia, now 30 years old, comes from Real Madrid’s lower divisions. After playing for Getafe and Sevilla, he joined PSG on a permanent transfer in the summer of 2019. In his first season with the club, he scored 14 goals and provided 8 assists in 40 official appearances in the 2019-2020 season. The following season, 2020-2021, he remained consistent with seven goals and four assists in 37 official appearances.

However, his opportunities were limited at PSG, a club with many talents from around the world, and in the summer of 2021 he was loaned out to Sporting. Despite an impressive record of 21 goals and 10 assists in 45 official appearances for the club, he returned to PSG this season and started only six official games. He was unable to move up the pecking order and remained in the position of back-up.

In September 2019, he made his debut for the Spanish national team, where he has made 26 official appearances, scoring nine goals and assisting three. He made five appearances at EURO 2020 the year before last, contributing to the team’s appearance in the last four, and also made one appearance at last year’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

At the age of 30, Sarabia has landed in the Premier League for the first time in his career. Expectations are high for his future career.
