The FA Cup 4th round matches were held in various locations.
Tottenham played Preston of the second division at the hostile place.
After saving ace Harry Kane on the bench and starting a number of key players, Tottenham took the lead in the 50th minute with a super goal from Son Heung-min, whose left-footed mid-range shot was sucked into the side netting. In the 69th minute, Song turned in a brilliant flick by Ivan Perisic, and again scored with his left foot. In the 87th minute, Arnaud Danjuma, who was making his debut in the middle of the field, met the rebound well and scored his first goal in his new club to give Tottenham a 3-0 win.
Manchester U, at home to second division Reading, took control of the game early on, but failed to capitalize on a series of chances. 35 minutes in, Marcus Rashford headed in a goal, but VAR ruled him offside, leaving the first half scoreless.
In the 55th minute, Antony cut in and sent an excellent through ball to Casemiro, who ran in and scored the first goal with a looping shot. In the 58th minute, Casemiro shot through the middle, and the ball hit a defender and was sucked into the goal for another goal. In the 67th minute, Bruno Fernandez’s cross was met by Fletge, who finished with a brilliant finish for the third goal. Despite a goal by Reading, Manchester U held on for a 3-1 win to advance to the fifth round.
