The possibility has emerged that King Charles may give an interview to the BBC.
This was revealed by an insider. King Charles may give an interview to the BBC prior to his coronation on May 6, giving the royal side of the story.
The “royal opinion” is believed to include the content of his second son Prince Harry’s memoir “SPARE,” which was published on January 10 this year. In it, Prince Harry criticized the treatment he received from King Charles and Prince William.
It is also said that Jonathan Dimbleby, a longtime friend of King Charles, has been named as the person in charge of the interview.
A source at the Mirror said of the interview, “When it comes to Prince Harry and Meghan, no matter how small the comment, it’s bound to be global news,” adding, “There is a possibility that Prince Harry will have some kind of reaction [to the King’s comments], but in any case we can’t predict. “There is a possibility that Prince Harry will have some kind of reaction (to the King’s remarks), but in any case I cannot predict. It is a very sensitive issue,” he added.
ITV, a British television station, also offered an interview to King Charles, but the royal family is said to have been wary because ITV gave an interview to Prince Harry in January to promote “SPARE.
If the interview were to take place, it is quite possible that the topic would be Prince Harry. On the other hand, however, there are those who believe that the interview will not mention Prince Harry and Meghan at all, and that it will be limited to filming and providing the coronation speech and its contents.
The source explained, “In this way, the royal family will be able to control what is said and will not dare to mention Prince Harry and Princess Meghan.
