The trailer, main visual, and scene photos of the new film “The Son,” which will be released on March 17 (Friday), have been released.

This film is the second part of a “family trilogy” following “Father”. Hugh Jackman, who fell in love with the completed screenplay, came forward to star in and executive produce the film, which also co-stars Anthony Hopkins, who won his second Academy Award for “Father,” and Laura Dern, who won the same award for “Marriage Story. The newly released trailer begins with Hugh Jackman watching over his child with a smile on his face. Peter (Hugh Jackman), who works as a lawyer, is enjoying a fulfilling life with his family.

One day, his ex-wife Kate (Laura Dern) tells him that something is wrong with their 17-year-old son Nicholas (Zen McGrath), who lives apart from Peter. Peter asks, “Is something wrong at school?” Nicholas tearfully pleads with Peter, “I don’t know myself,” and “I want to be with my father. Nicholas then moves in with Peter, but the distance between father and son is not easily bridged…. The trailer also features Anthony Hopkins, who starred in the previous film “Father”.
