According to a new report by Page Six, “SNL” producers had been in talks with Prince Harry ahead of the January release of his memoir “Spare,” but negotiations stalled at the last minute. A TV insider commented, “Harry (Prince Harry) was serious and intended to do it. The producers of ‘SNL’ had been after Harry for a while. Everyone on the show was on board with the idea, and people would definitely have been watching the channel,” he continued.

In the past, “SNL” has presented comedy related to the British royal family.
