What Backstreet Boys member A.J. McLean revealed…?
A collaboration between two of the biggest pop groups that once took the world by storm could be on the cards.
In an interview with BuzzFeed, A.J. McLean, a member of the popular male vocal group Backstreet Boys, has revealed that the Backstreet Boys and the popular British girl group Spice Girls are in talks for a joint tour. The group has been in talks about a joint tour with the Backstreet Boys and the popular British girl group Spice Girls.
In the interview, A.J. McLean said, “We remained really close friends with most of the members of the ‘Spice Girls’,” and continued, “And we were both on top of the world at the time”.
A.J. then hinted at a collaborative tour, saying, “There are rumours of ‘let’s tour together’ or something like that”.

He added: “If it happens, it will be one of the biggest tours ever. People would love to see us, the Spice Girls and In Sync on tour together.
However, fans should not get their hopes up too high.
When asked what the chances of a tour happening, A.J. said, “Probably in the low 30 per cent, maybe in the 20 per cent range. I don’t think it’s that high,” he replied realistically. He added: “Everyone is moving forward. They’re doing their own thing. But I don’t know,” he commented ambiguously.
The Backstreet Boys, a five-piece group formed in the USA in 1993, had their big breakthrough through the early 2000s. In total, they sold more than 140 million CDs. The Spice Girls are another female idol group formed in the UK in 1994, and their debut album Spice is recorded as the best-selling female group album in history.
