Britney has now updated her Instagram. She blames the production company that exploited her and complains that this does not happen to other celebrities.
Britney also expressed her anger at the paparazzi who caught her getting off the plane when she returned home from her honeymoon.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Britney began with the sarcasm, “America has done a good enough job of humiliating me,” she said, “When I landed at the airport, no one would let me on a cart to the terminal. It’s been that way for the past 20 years. Whenever I arrived in the U.S., I had to walk 30 yards to my car. There were times when the man on the plane would be so considerate as to offer to drive me right by the plane for Ms. Spears, but that was extremely rare. Yes, he would walk to his car. This was the first time in 20 years that I was photographed in such a way. This is what America does. I have never been harassed like this before. I can only say that they are crazy.
She added, “Is it legal to make a documentary about a person without that person’s permission? Seriously, think about it. Will Smith, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez…have there been that many documentaries made about them? They say ‘to help me’ and dig up negative footage,” said Britney, who criticized the documentaries that have been aired so far. She expressed her deep anger and sadness that documentaries have been made in the name of helping her, that she has been treated in a humiliating manner, and that people are not willing to reflect on their past actions.
