The trailer and poster for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, the latest film in the hugely popular adventure series starring Harrison Ford, which opens worldwide on Friday 30 June, have been released.

Indiana Jones” is a globally popular adventure series starring Harrison Ford and directed by the master filmmaker Steven Spielberg and the superb production team of Lucasfilm, the creators of the “Star Wars” series. The latest film in the series, and the last in which Harrison Ford will play Indiana, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, was released simultaneously worldwide on 30 June (Friday)! The film has been the subject of intense worldwide attention, and the action-packed trailer and poster have finally been released, which unravels the “dial of destiny” of the film’s title.
Indiana Jones is a timeless adventure series in which the archaeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones travels around the world in search of hidden treasures, confronting various dangers and mysteries as he unfolds his adventures. In the latest instalment, Indy, played by Harrison, embarks on his last and greatest adventure this summer. The archaeologist and adventurer Indy is locked in an all-out war on land, sea and air against his old nemesis, the former Nazi scientist Foller, played by Mads Mikkelsen, for a legendary treasure full of mysteries with “powers beyond human imagination”. Set to the familiar theme tune ‘Raiders March’ by master filmmaker John Williams, the curtain finally rises on the ultimate action adventure as you and Indy experience an epic adventure in the cinema.
The unleashed footage begins with Indy declaring his retirement with the cheerful music of The Rolling Stones in the background. Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge) then appears and offers Indy a story about a “dial of destiny” that he discovered in his youth that will change history. The Dial of Destiny, which looks like a clock, is a hidden treasure that Indy, who has had many adventures in his life, has spent his entire life searching for, as he says, “Everything I’ve done in my life has been for this day. The battle for the “Dial of Destiny” unfolds in a car chase and gun battle with Indy’s old nemesis, Foller, and a desperate dive into the air from a giant aeroplane, all of which will make your hands sweat. How will the “dial of destiny” that he has spent his life searching for change the world? What is the purpose of Foller’s arch-enemy, who speaks out as if he is about to overturn history? Indiana Jones finally confronts his destiny, having failed time and again when he had the chance, yet always triumphing in the end.
The film also features a mysterious boy reminiscent of Short Round, played by Kee Hui Kwan, who was Indiana Jones’ sidekick in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and saved Indy’s life on numerous occasions. He is likely to be a key player in this adventure, and it will be interesting to see how he interacts with Indy. The film also features scenes that will make series fans’ hearts flutter, such as Indy’s spectacular whip work, and a scene in which a huge round stone rolls down, which brings back flashbacks to Indy’s many previous adventures, making it impossible to take your eyes off the film for even a moment.
The poster, which has also been released, shows Indy, Helena and Foller looking determined with their own agendas in mind, against the backdrop of the Dial of Destiny, which Indy has spent his life pursuing, in a texture reminiscent of retro comic books. Expectations are high for Indy’s final adventure as he confronts his destiny in the great battle for the Dial of Destiny.
The final adventure of Indiana Jones is presented by James Mangold, a director of proven ability who has received the director’s baton from Spielberg, who is also the executive producer of the film, and famous Hollywood actors such as Harrison Ford and Mads Mikkelsen. The film also features the comeback of John Rhys-Davies as Salah, who also appeared in Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade, and, although his role is unknown, Antonio Banderas, the Spanish actor best known for his role in The Mask of Zorro.
