What are Gigi’s favourite two exquisite dishes that Taylor makes…?

According to model Gigi Hadid, her best friend and singer Taylor Swift is as good as a chef.

In an interview with InStyle magazine, published on 11 April, Gigi praised Taylor Swift’s skills as a cook, saying, “Taylor Swift is an extraordinary cook, and I love her” and “She also makes a really good bolognese sauce and a great chilli that I love.

Taylor is known for her love of baking, but apparently she can make any genre of food delicious. Gigi also told the magazine that she feels a special connection with friends who cook for her.

Incidentally, Taylor has not always liked cooking. According to People magazine, popular cook Aina Garten changed Taylor’s idea of cooking.

In 2022, Aina appeared on the cover of the November issue of Food Network Magazine to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Barefoot Contessa, the cooking show she hosts. In the magazine, Aina’s celebrity friends, including Taylor, share their favourite memories of Aina.

Describing Aina as an ‘amazing woman’, Taylor says: ‘My most intense memory about Aina is when I first discovered her TV show. I was a teenager and my life revolved around touring. On my precious off days at home, I rarely cooked for myself. Because it always felt like a tedious job,” she revealed that she had no interest in cooking at the time.

However, after watching Aina prepare meals, Taylor began to reconsider cooking as something relaxing rather than a tedious task.

‘She made cooking feel like self-care,’ cut in Taylor, adding that cooking has since been an escape from stress and the only way I can really calm myself down on a tough day.

Apparently, Taylor is now also proudly cooking for her friend celebrities. We’d love to try some of Taylor’s cooking just once.
