Singer Camila Cabello (26) was recently spotted making out with ex-boyfriend Shawn Mendes (24).
A photographer asked Camila directly if they were ‘back together’ and it has become a hot topic.
Camila and Shawn started dating in July 2019. Since then, through social networking sites, events and interviews, they had shown that their relationship was on a roll, but in November 2021, they jointly announced that they had broken up. The report was so sudden that fans around the world were in an uproar.
After the break-up, Camilla started dating Austin Kevitch, 31, CEO of Lox Club, a Jewish membership dating app (they broke up in February this year). Meanwhile, Shawn has recently been rumoured to be in love with chiropractor Dr Jocelyne Miranda, 51, and singer and actress Sabrina Carpenter, 23.
Camila and Shawn were thought to be enjoying romance with new partners. However, it was revealed that the two were suddenly close again, and their fans cannot hide their surprise.
On 14 April (local time), the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (commonly known as Coachella), a large-scale outdoor music festival held every spring in the Coachella Valley of California, USA. Camila and Shawn, who visited the festival, were seen on numerous occasions kissing and hugging “like a couple”.
According to Us Weekly, in a video posted on Twitter on 15 January, a cameraman asked Camila: “Camila, are you guys back together?” and asked, “Camila, did you guys get back together?”. Camila’s friend who was with her replied ‘yes’, but Camila ignored the cameraman and chatted with her friends.

The video also shows Shawn walking behind Camila with her friends. Shawn then stands next to a car with its door open and calls out to Camila: ‘Hey, Camila! and calls out to Camila. It is not clear whether the two left the venue in the same car.
According to Us Weekly, Camila and Shawn arrived at the venue separately that day, and a person who saw them told the website: “They weren’t holding hands, but they were together all night. They were sitting at a VIP table and kept out of sight”. He added that “[Shawn] had his arm around her waist as they walked towards the stage”, “Camilla had her face in Shawn’s shoulder and they looked like a couple”, and “they also kissed and made out during the last song of Burna Boy”.
