Victoria Beckham, 49, reportedly may attend the “Spice Girls” reunion concert to be held next year.
The group will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2024, and is said to be in negotiations to headline the “Glastonbury Festival,” an outdoor music festival.

However, another report said that Victoria may not attend the reunion show and may be at another celebratory event.
The “Spice Girls,” who formed in the U.K. in 1994, consist of “Ginger Spice” Jeri Horner (nee Halliwell, 50), “Scary Spice” Mel B. (48), and “Baby Spice. (50), Emma Bunton (47) of “Baby Spice,” Melanie C. (49) of “Sporty Spice,” and Victoria Beckham of “Posh Spice ” and Victoria Beckham (49) of “Posh Spice” were a five-member female idol group.
Their 1996 debut single, “Wannabe,” topped the charts in 37 countries. They became the best-selling female group in history, selling more than 80 million records worldwide. However, Jeri left the group in 1998, and the group went on hiatus in 2001.
The group then briefly reunited for a world tour in 2007, and the five members also came together to perform at the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics. 2019 saw a second reunion tour, but Victoria did not participate. She is passionate about her fashion brand “Victoria Beckham” and has been reluctant to participate in the group’s re-activities since then.
The Spice Girls are said to be in secret talks for a reunion concert to celebrate their 30th anniversary in 2024.
According to a July 14 local time report by the British media outlet “The Sun,” the group is considering headlining next year’s “Glastonbury Festival,” a large outdoor music festival.
Geri, Mel B, Emma, and Melanie C have tentatively agreed to tour dates in 2024, and Victoria will contribute in some capacity.
A source told the media, “For the past few years, the Spice Girls have been just the four of us. But for the first time in a long time, Victoria has decided to join us and celebrate 30 groundbreaking years of girl power,” a source revealed.
He continued, “Their schedules are quite busy and it is difficult for all of the girls to get together at one time. However, over the past six months, the five of us have had more contact with each other. We haven’t had anything like this since the 2012 Olympics,” he added.
According to this person, although Victoria will celebrate her 50th birthday and the group’s 30th anniversary next year, certain conditions are necessary for her to participate in the reunion show.
There will be no new music, and Victoria is adamant that she doesn’t want to perform live unless it’s a tremendously exciting one-time opportunity.”
So the Spice Girls are negotiating a headlining slot at next year’s Glastonbury to match Victoria’s “cool aesthetic. This is sure to please her husband David and their four children.
The girls have also discussed the possibility of a documentary capturing behind-the-scenes footage from the past and interviews from the present, and all five are said to be on board with the idea of celebrating the Spice Girls’ 30th anniversary.
In contrast to these reports, the British media outlet “Mail On Sunday” reported on July 15 (local time) that Victoria is not likely to participate in the reunion show. According to sources close to Victoria, she will not join the tour again because she wants to concentrate on her own fashion brand, despite repeated pleas from the group. However, she has not ruled out the possibility of appearing at celebratory events outside of the tour.
