Actor Paul Walker died on 30 November 2013 at the age of 40 as a result of a private car accident. He had an only daughter, Meadow Walker, with his former girlfriend Rebecca Soteros, and Meadow was 13 years old at the time of Paul’s death.

The 21-year-old Meadow, who went into show business like her father and now works as a model, says that eight years after Paul’s death, she still has moments when she is reminded of her father on a daily basis.

It was recently announced that Meadow will make her acting debut in Fast X, the 10th and latest instalment of her father’s classic film Wild Speed, and she attended the premiere held on 12 May local time in Rome, Italy, where the film was shot, along with Vin Diesel and others. In an interview with E! News in the US, which she responded to at the premiere, she commented on her father Paul.

The interviewer asked, “Are there moments when you feel like a father?” When asked, “For me it’s numbers, 4 and 7 were my father’s favourite numbers,” Meadow said. ‘Whenever I’m doubting something or arguing with someone, I see 4 and 7 all over the place. Whenever that happens, I know it’s my father,’ she continued, revealing that the numbers always come to the surface when she is insecure and she can feel her father.

According to Meadow, she also felt her father by her side just before she attended the premiere of the film, her debut as an actress, and the day before the premiere, “I had that moment, and then the clock rang and I thought, ‘Okay, this is going to be okay. It’s going to be all right’,” she revealed.

‘I’m personally incredibly excited,’ Meadow told E! News about his first involvement in the Wild Speed series. ‘I’m sure my father would be delighted that this has come to fruition.
