Creed III, the latest film in the Creed franchise, will be released in Japan on 26 May (released in the US on 3 March) and is the DNA of the legendary boxing film Rocky. The film’s powerful fight scenes, shot with IMAX®-certified digital cameras for the first time in sports film history, give the viewer an overwhelming sense of realism, as if he or she were at ringside.

Ahead of the film’s release, the Japan premiere of Creed III will be held in Japan today, 17 May, and Michael made his first visit to Japan.

Michael is an anime fan and has always said he wanted to go to Japan, and when asked on Vogue’s YouTube project ’73 Questions’ “Where would you like to go? he replied, “I’m obsessed with Tokyo, Japan. He answered, “Anime is the best”, but the timing was not right and he could not visit Japan very often.

Michael’s dream finally came true and his first visit to Japan was realised, and he immediately visited Shibuya. He uploaded a video of the visit on his Instagram along with the song ‘A Moment of Silence’ by Japanese music producer and drummer Mabanua.

Myke is scheduled to attend a red carpet event at the boxing mecca of Korakuen Hall this 17 May afternoon, followed by the Japan premiere screening at the Grand Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro. It will also be interesting to see where he visits in Japan for the first time.
