Azealia Banks has some advice for Taylor Swift.
On Tuesday 30 May, female rapper Azealia Banks updated her Instagram.
Through the story, she called on Taylor Swift, who was reportedly dating musician Matthew Healy, to break up with him.
On the day, Azealia posted a long text in white letters on a black background.

In it, Azealia cited the name of a skin disease caused by ticks and wrote: “Taylor, this man is going to leave you scarred. He’s not worthy of the position you’ve worked so hard to build,” she warned. ‘There are a lot of cooler people in the music industry. You should work with James Mercer from The Shins,” she continued.
Azealia praised James Mercer as ‘the greatest lyricist of all time’ and criticised Matthew Healey as a complete ‘coked-up boy’.
It is believed that this statement by Azealia was in response to a racist comment Matthew made on a podcast show he recently appeared on.
On the podcast show Matthew appeared on, the Adam Friedland Show, host Adam Friedland made comments about rapper Ice Spice, such as “Inuit spice girl” and “chubby Chinese woman”, which made fun of her roots and accent. They laughed in agreement with this.
She also referred to the relationship between Nazi Germany and Japan during the Second World War in the programme, and was seen as problematic when she seemed to taunt the presenter to imitate the Japanese of the time.
Matthew later apologised, but in an interview with the New Yorker magazine on Monday 29 May, he said that it was not a big problem and that those who were offended by the episode were paranoid. The situation has come under further fire.
