Is Brad Pitt’s refusal to drop his lawsuit against Angelina Jolie retaliation for her refusal to agree to a nondisclosure agreement? A source on Angelina Jolie’s side is speaking out.
Actor Brad Pitt recently filed legal documents with the court.
He claimed that his ex-wife, actress Angelina Jolie, “intentionally kept secret” the fact that she sold half of the rights to the French winery Chateau Miraval, which she and Brad jointly purchased when they were married, to a Russian billionaire without permission.
Brad’s side strongly condemns Angelina’s actions as “detrimental to the business” given the current situation in Russia.
Brad filed a lawsuit against Angelina for this matter in 2022.
A source close to Angelina told People magazine that such a move by Brad is “retaliation for Angelina’s failure to agree to a nondisclosure agreement.
Last year, Angelina filed a lawsuit claiming that she and her children suffered physical and emotional pain and suffering from Brad during their marriage.
In response, Brad asked Angelina to sign a “confidentiality agreement” prohibiting her from discussing the matter outside of court, but she did not agree.
Brad has also completely denied the DV allegations.
A source on Angelina’s side claimed, “No matter how many times he amends his complaint, he cannot escape the fact that he has been violent to Angelina and the children. Brad refused to sell his interest in Chateau Miraval because Angelina did not agree to keep her mouth shut about the DV,” the source continued.
Brad’s side, on the other hand, refuted the item in the agreement about not divulging negative details, saying that it is extremely common in business dealings.
