On Monday, June 12 local time, Tenoch posted a lengthy statement on his own Instagram Story.

He vehemently denied Maria’s claims that he is a “sexual predator. He wrote: “The false and totally unfounded accusations about me are spreading like wildfire. I cannot refute them any longer,” the statement continued.

Tenoch, a father of two, continued, “About a year ago, I dated Elena for several months. As countless people have testified, it was always completely consensual. We were affectionate, warm, and supportive of each other throughout. After the breakup, he claimed, she “began misrepresenting their interactions, both in private and in front of our mutual group of friends.

He commented, “As a result, several months ago, I hired a legal team to initiate appropriate action to protect my reputation and refute these irresponsible and false accusations that cause great prejudice and damage.” He continued that he is “by no means perfect” and that “these allegations are simply not true.”

He concluded his statement by thanking his family and “those who have supported me.

It all started over the weekend when Maria accused him of being a “violent and sexual predator” on social media. He then claimed that a group of them had come looking for him at the concert to avoid a scandal about the Marvel movie.
