Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker officially married in Italy in May after a ceremony in Las Vegas last April. They announced that they will soon have their first child together.
She made her appeal from the audience with a board that read, “I’m pregnant.”
The way they made this announcement was quite dramatic. On Friday, June 16 (local time), Travis’ band, Blink-182, held a concert in Los Angeles. Courtney, who was in the audience, appealed to Travis with a message board, as fans often do. On it was written, “Travis, I’m having a baby. Apparently, she also made the announcement to Travis here.
The band members, including vocalist Mark Hoppus, immediately noticed and hastily congratulated her. The audience cheered when a camera at the venue caught Courtney’s image and showed it on the screen. Travis walked from in front of the drum set and walked down the stage to Courtney. They shared their joy with hugs and kisses.
The baby to be born is Courtney’s fourth. She and her ex-partner Scott Disick have a 13-year-old son Mason, a 10-year-old daughter Penelope, and an 8-year-old son Rain. Travis also has a 19-year-old son, Landon, and a 17-year-old daughter, Alabama, with his ex-wife, Shanna Moeckler. He also has a good relationship as stepdaughter with 24-year-old Alatina, born to Shanna and her former fiancé.
The two have publicly expressed their desire to have children since shortly after their marriage. They have tried in vitro fertilization and herbal remedies. Courtney once said, “I’m eating quail eggs to get pregnant,” which puzzled her fans. However, things haven’t been going as smoothly as she would have liked, and last month on the reality TV show “The Kardashians’ Disturbing Celebrity Life,” she said, “We’ve officially stopped trying IVF. We really want to have a baby, but what happens to us is God’s will. If God is thinking of giving us a baby, I believe it will happen. We look forward to the birth of our longed-for baby.
